Logged In: YES user_id=767741 I noticed the same behaviour with Eclipse 3.0 and phpeclipse-2004-07-05 on Windows XP: Sometimes syntax highligting does not work. The problems started when I installed the free XML plugin 'XMLBuddy' from http://www.xmlbuddy.com. If is installed, Phpeclise's syntax highligthing does not work. If you remove XMLBuddy, it works again.

I've noticed that whenever I use an apostrophe (') within
multiple comment (/* */) the syntax highlight of next
multiple comment is stuffed + often all syntax highlighting
is somehow "switched off". Once I stopped using apostrophes,
it seems to work OK.
