help does not find

Description

i use eclipse 3.1.1/linux-gtk with phpeclipse 1.1.8cvs (the "dbg-
release" ;-)
on a php-function/keyword/... chosing php help launches the browser
but without a help-topic. instead "The topic that you have requested is
not available. The link may be wrong, or you may not have the
corresponding product feature installed. This online help only
includes documentation for features that are installed." is shown.

it's, additionally, not clear to me why there's a preferences-node
"help" for windows exclusively. there are chm-viewers for linux too.
what functionality does that node trigger in windows?

HTML help works for functions referenced by the PHP HTML Manual, otherwise it shows the message "The topic that you have requested is not available. (...)".

About CHM support, we decided that it will be dropped and replaced by HTML plus some refactoring.

I'm closing this issue as there is already a feature request for this: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1718816&group_id=57621&atid=484804

Thanks.
