Description 

n.s.phpeclipse requires Java 5 to compile?
Would it be better to stick to 1.4 for now, so it can
run on MacOS 10.3?

What makes you think so? As far as I can see, the plugins
all compile with Java 1.4. And the generated class files are
1.2 compliant. At least that's what my workbench tells in
the properties dialogs.
I can't say for sure if Mike uses other settings when
creating the snapshots, but I doubt that.
