Line wrapping blocks cursor movement

Description (last modified by ed_mann)

Using phpeclipse 1.1.9.CVS-20060920 with Eclipse 3.3M3:

When scrolling by cursor keys through a long php script with line wrapping enabled...

... if the cursor is on the left margin it will block when it hits a long line, but

... if the cursor is on NOT the margin it will scroll all the way through the file.

If in the first case, cursoring to the right will immediately make cursoring down possible again.

Is there a reason why the left margin is special?

Obviously it's easy to create an example file with short and long lines to see this behaviour in action, but if you want a sample file see the one referenced in bug 1605563.

I could reproduce this bug and it is accepted. Thank you for the report, Nick.

I might add that if you hold the shift key while scrolling it behaves differently.

I'm attaching a sample file that demonstrates the bug.

My setup:
PHPeclipse 1.1.2.200705301433NGT
Eclipse 3.2.2 build M20070212-1330
Sun Java 1.5.0_06

File Added: 1605569_sample_code.php

scorphus and i tried to reproduce this issue with Nightly 01.23.08 and trunk from svn. We were unable to trigger the error so this does not appear to be an issue anymore.
